(Topeka, Kan.) – Registration for families seeking assistance through United Way’s Christmas Bureau is set for Nov. 1 – Nov. 9 at Let’s Help and the Antioch Family Life Center. Approximately 2,800 families were helped through the 2012 Christmas Bureau and a similar or higher number are expected to register again this year.

To qualify for assistance, families complete a thorough intake process requiring income documentation and verifies identification for each person in the household. Families must bring documentation with them to register.

For 72 years, Christmas Bureau has been a local tradition thanks to the generosity of churches, companies, non-profits, organizations and families adopting families who need a little help this holiday season.
