UWGT COVID-19 Relief Fund
Microgrant Application (PDF)

Criteria: To qualify for a microgrant from the “United Way of Greater Topeka COVID-19 Relief Fund:”

  1. Your agency must be a 501(c)(3) organization.
  2. Your agency must be in good standing with the State of Kansas.
  3. Your agency must serve a majority of clients from Shawnee, Jefferson or Jackson County.

Grant requests may be up to $1,500 and must be for COVID-19 prevention, education, or mitigation of the economic burden for clients. Grants will be reviewed and responded to within 3 business days, and grants will be awarded only as long as sufficient funds remain in the Relief Fund.

United Way of Greater Topeka issues Requests For Proposals (RFPs) to identify and select partners that are best able to help achieve our Community Impact Goals. All RFPs are open to the public and anyone may enter a proposal that meets the stated criteria. Impact grants are on a three-year cycle, with the current cycle running from 2018-2020. Basic Needs grants require an annual proposal.
