Our timeline for Basic Needs grants is changing for 2020 and beyond. Current grants (2019 calendar year) are being extended for six months. Beginning July 1, 2019, these grants will align with United Way’s fiscal year. Nonprofits interested in applying for a 2020-2021 UWGT Basic Needs Assistance grant should plan to see an RFP released in early 2020, with grant review panels in March 2020. For more information on our grant process, please contact Juliet McDiffett, 785.228.5122 or email@example.com. The RFP process is open to eligible charitable organizations as designated by IRS code 170 providing services in Shawnee and Jefferson counties.

United Way of Greater Topeka issues Requests For Proposals (RFPs) to identify and select partners that are best able to help achieve our Community Impact Goals. All RFPs are open to the public and anyone may enter a proposal that meets the stated criteria. Impact grants are on a three-year cycle, with the current cycle running from 2018-2020. Basic Needs grants require an annual proposal.
