Basic Needs

Girl with Bear

Supporting basic needs is a foundation of our work. We provide grants for rent and utilities, food, health assistance/prescriptions and safety from domestic violence. Without having their basic needs met, children can’t learn in school, families can’t be financially stable and individuals and families can’t enjoy good health.

When access to basic needs is not in place, the consequences may be severe. United Way is committed to focusing on our 10 year goals in education, financial stability, and health, we are aware of the need to help people of all ages with the critical issues they face on a daily basis.
