Spark*—Igniting Careers
, is a career readiness event created by the United Way of Greater Topeka’s Women United group.

Spark* will enrich, educate, and empower women, giving them the resources and support they need to find sustainable and competitive employment. Spark*—Igniting Careers will be held from 9 am to 3 pm on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at the Washburn Tech Conference Center, 5724 SW Huntoon Street.

This volunteer-led event will help prepare 15 to 20 women who have suffered a recent job loss by helping them update their job readiness and life skills. Women United will also help provide professional interview attire through a local clothing drive.
