United Way of Greater Topeka & Raise Kansas collaborate to get meals & books to students

United Way of Greater Topeka and Raise Kansas are collaborating with many partners this summer to increase awareness about access to food in Shawnee County for our kids. Children can go to more than 25 different places across Topeka this summer to get a meal. As we raise awareness about the different sites where children can eat, we also want to engage volunteers to read and interact with the children. By donating new and used books, you can improve critical access to reading materials over the summer. Books are critical to preventing learning loss over the long summer break.
