Women United, in cooperation with CoreFirst Bank & Trust, is offering the highly acclaimed seminar, "Street Smart for Women" on Tuesday, August 26, 2008.
Lt. Tommy Halfen, a decorated Gulf War veteran and former police officer, travels the country as a safety awareness speaker for the National Crime Prevention-Public Safety Coalition Task Force. Halfen, a dymanic speaker, will present the most effective tactics and procedures for women, focusing on how to avoid becoming a victim of crime.
Times for this event are Noon to 1 p..m and 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at CoreFirst Bank & Trust Conference Center, 701 SW 31st St., Topeka, KS. The program is free, but space is limited. Please make a reservations by calling Charlene Bryan at 228-5110 or sending her an email at:
